Bidancer Refund Policy
Version 1 · Effective from the date of publication
This Refund Policy explains when payments and platform credits on Bidancer are refunded. Bidancer is operated by Knoxpo Solutions Private Limited ("Knoxpo", "we", "us"), Surat, Gujarat, India. This policy forms part of, and uses the definitions from, the Terms of Service.
1. Credits in short
Credits are a closed-loop platform feature: they are not money, cannot be transferred between accounts, and cannot be withdrawn or redeemed for cash. Every credit movement — purchase, deduction, refund, reward, adjustment — is recorded in the append-only ledger visible in your account.
2. Credit purchases
2.1 Credit packages are priced in Indian Rupees, shown with applicable GST treatment before purchase, and paid through our payment provider (currently Razorpay). A tax invoice is issued for each purchase.
2.2 Purchased credits are non-refundable once credited to your wallet, except where required by applicable law or expressly stated in this policy.
2.3 Failed or duplicate payments. If a payment is captured but credits are not applied, or a payment is captured twice for one order, the amount is reversed to your original payment method once the payment provider confirms the state. Reversal timing then depends on your bank or payment method.
3. Automatic credit refunds built into platform flows
These refunds happen automatically and appear in your ledger:
- Enquiry rejected. Submitting an enquiry (including a franchise enquiry) costs 3 credits. If the receiving business rejects it, all 3 credits are refunded.
- Tender bid not accepted. Submitting a bid costs 8 credits. If your bid is not accepted, 6 credits are refunded; 2 credits are retained as a platform fee for processing the bid.
Credits consumed by completed actions — an accepted enquiry, an accepted bid, or any action that ran to completion — are not refunded.
4. Trade-show payments
Trade shows on Bidancer are organised by independent organizer businesses, and payments for booth reservations, participation, and visitor passes are made to the organizer's own payment gateway account. The organizer — not Knoxpo — is the merchant of record:
- Cancellation and refund terms for a trade show are set by its organizer and shown in the event's booking flow.
- Refund requests for trade-show payments must be raised with the organizer; where a refund is processed through the platform, it is recorded in the ledger.
- Knoxpo does not hold these funds and cannot itself issue trade-show refunds.
5. Rewards and adjustments
One-time verification reward credits (50 credits for completed identity verification, 50 for completed business verification) are promotional and carry no cash value. Manifest ledger errors are corrected by a recorded adjustment entry, never by editing history.
6. Account closure and termination
Unused credits lapse on account closure or termination and are not converted to cash. Where we terminate an account without cause, we may, at our discretion, refund the unused portion of recently purchased credits to the original payment method.
7. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under applicable law that cannot be excluded, including under Indian consumer-protection law where it applies.
8. How to raise a refund issue
Write to support@bidancer.com with the ledger entry or payment reference. We acknowledge within 24 hours. Unresolved complaints can be escalated to the Grievance Officer (Nayan Hathiwala, grievance@bidancer.com) per the Terms of Service, who resolves complaints within 15 days or any shorter period prescribed by law.
